Lent, Religous stuff

OK Lent's coming up soon so I might be down for Brawling and online time

And Lent is....?

It's like passover you know Forty-days Forty-nights.

I'm not too much of a religious person, so and explanation would be nice.

I gotta give up a few things I really like to do, for that time. Catholicism, just raised that way, but mostly I'm a free sprite.

That's odd, but what's the whole point behind it?

OK you you Noah's ARK right? It's like a way to honor what he did, I think all three main religions do it.

You know Items of pleasure and such games favorite foods red meat and eat fish on fridays.

no it's to honour how jesus gave up bread and water and stood up to the spirit of the devil who offered him delicous foods.

i think noah's ark and moses have something to do with it to but the giving up thing is because of jesus.

also priests say it doesn't matter if you give up somehting or not cause basically your not honoring jesus that way. what you should do is make yourself commit more acts of random kindness and go to church on sunday and don't eat meat on friday's and try to better yourself. and after lent you should still try to do these things.

basically don't give up somehting you like, your just ruining it for yourself and torturing yourself. give up a bad habit and do more good things.
